This event will highlight notions of innovation, the importance of creativity, and the Power of Play and allow you to use all your senses! We promise that you have not experienced an event like this. You are not going to want to miss it!
Highlighting the incredible innovation that happens in our community every day by bringing together local innovators from all industries and levels of development. They will be matched up with Culinary Artists, Mixologists & Beverage Professionals in our community to provide a multi-sensory experience.
We know that there is power in bringing creative and innovative minds together for a common purpose, just like the work and creativity that happens in the Minnesota Children's Museum Rochester every day!

Description of Innovators who will be providing experiences at this event:
Tinua – Tinua is building a digital and mobile app that will allow users to donate unused gift cards to charity. We will illustrate how a small amount remaining on a giftcard can make an large impact for others. Tinua will be collecting unused gift cards at this event in support of the Minnesota Children’s Museum Rochester.
People’s Food Co-Op - Turning food waste back into food! Food waste is a $160 billion drain on the economy annually. Through composting, that waste will circumvent the landfill in order to become nutrients for the healthy foods we need.
Limb Lab - Myoelectric prosthetic technology is at the forefront of prosthetic care. Myoelectric-controlled prostheses offer the ultimate combination of function and natural appearance. Designed to mimic human anatomy and motion, electronic components are the closest alternative to an anatomical hand or arm.
RaizLabs - Raizlabs, an award-winning, Google Certified design and development tech agency, will be showcasing the work they do with Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Artificial Intelligence. The tech demo will include a hand’s on demonstration of Microsoft’s Hololens, an augmented reality system.
BrandHoot - Come experience two ways we foster creativity by weaving play into work. A rock climbing wall in our office and touch-interactive maps for Destination Medical Center.
Spark DJ - Spark DJ is a new mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to DJ your party. It takes requests from your crowd, transitions music like a live DJ and understands your musical tastes....giving you the best non-stop music all night long!
IMPACT: The Innovative Minds Partnering to Advance Curative Therapies (IMPACT) program aims to crowdsource solutions to real biomedical questions by engaging teams of Minnesota undergraduate students in novel hypothesis generation. Come experience the excitement of working with a team to piece together information and solve a problem. Together, we can innovate on even the most challenging questions in human health and disease!
Area 10 Labs – Area 10 Labs advances and develops technologies that enhance human capabilities by fusing humans with computing, neuroscience, engineering, and physics. We are currently incubating a new company that will be developing educational technology products. For Innovationology, we will be hosting an interactive demonstration of our first product – a low-cost, portable, WiFi-enabled microscope for use with curriculum developed by our partner company, Insciedout (http://insciedout.org).
