Women's Roundtable

  • Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce Jaguar Communications 220 South Broadway, Suite 100 Rochester, Minnesota 55902 (map)

Develop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Round Table provides a small, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership, learn together and empower each other to take risks. Join us for a fun, engaging program driven by the needs of the group.

This presentation will be featuring Brittany Baker. Brittany is co-owner of MedCity Doulas, Rochester’s First and Only Professional Doula Agency. She has an extensive background in print production, project management, and marketing. Brittany currently resides in Pine Island with her teacher husband and two sons, ages 3 and 1. After becoming pregnant with her second son, she knew that a career change was in order, while it was scary to leave the corporate world and job security that comes along with it — Brittany isn’t looking back. Into her second year of self-employment, she is striving to empower other women to not only “sit at the table” but to make their own table.
Presentation Details: Get To Know Your Target Market. Having a clear understanding of who your “ideal client” is and how they go through their daily lives will allow you to effectively market to your audience. It is not enough to say “Everyone is my ideal customer”. During this workshop we will identify ways to get a better understanding of your target market; you will leave with an “avatar” of your ideal client.

As a small-business owner, the ability to have a clear understanding of your market will be vital to the existence of your business.

**Please note that all presentations and content delivered within or in the promotion of Round Table meetings are entirely Round Table Chair and member/attendee driven.
